Doris Lessing
I was wondering if anyone wanted to read a Doris Lessing book since she just won the Pulitzer. I've not read anything of hers.

9/26 or 10/3/07 - Stones for Ibarra
Melinda's garden was a lovely setting to discuss the most recent book. Thanks to Lisa for decicious cookies (recipes, please) and canteloupe. Next time we'll be at Cindy's on one of the two above dates - September schedules are back-to-school busy... Kathy will provide munchies.
I put together another poll. It gives you the ability to vote as many times as you want to. I added a few titles from Book Sense's "Top Ten from the Past Five Years" based on titles alone. Please suggest books you would like to read and we can add them to the poll. Remember, you all can post comments.
Recipe info to follow.

Thanks, Jenny!
Thank you, Jenny, for creating this blog! It's great to keep a running list of what we've read, since my long-term memory is rapidly disappearing. Also, I like getting suggestions organized in advance, so we don't drive ourselves crazy trying to remember book reviews that sounded interesting. See you all at Melinda's, if not sooner.

Thanks
Thanks, Jenny. That's great that you put that together. Next, I think I may need a tutorial on how to use this. It's impressive how many we've read and scary that I have no memory of a few of them. A few additional books that we'd considered for the future--the new book by the guy who wrote The Kite Runner and another book by the author of Don Emanuel's Nether Parts. Also, something to consider--Lisa See has another book.
Never Let Me Go
Our next meeting discussing Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro will be August 14 at Melinda's (note the change) with Lisa doing the snack.
Welcome Readers
Welcome to our book club blog. I named it PrincetonBooks. Might be a little pretentious, but there you go. I'm going to figure out how to set up a couple of things and get back to you.
